MP Highlights Poundland Grants for Under 18 Sports Clubs

Local MP Richard Thomson has highlighted a new source of grant aid to junior sports clubs for help with buying sports kits.

Poundland will be launching its second round of Kits 4 Kids funding at the end of February 2022. Grants of up to £750 for new kit will be available for grassroots sports clubs supporting children under 18 across the UK.

Commenting, Richard Thomson MP said:

“Poundland are to be commended for this initiative which will support young people’s involvement in sports.

“At a time when many businesses are still recovering from the pandemic and sponsorship may be less easy to come by, having a scheme like this to apply to could help local youth sports clubs tremendously and I encourage local clubs to get further information.”
