MP Highlights Energy Information Event in Inverurie
Gordon MP Richard Thomson has highlighted an event being held this weekend in Inverurie which aims to promote community energy.
Garioch District Heat is holding an information session on Saturday 7 May at Inverurie Town Hall and is inviting local residents to come along and find out more about how they could potentially benefit.
Commenting, Richard Thomson MP said:
“Community energy companies have been around for a while, but this is the first one locally to my knowledge.
“With an increased focus on energy consumption and spending on energy bills at the current time, this should be a very interesting event which aims to shape the future of energy use in Inverurie and district whilst benefitting consumers and helping the environment.”
