MP Urges Residents to Register to Give Their Views on Insch Hospital

Published date : 15 July, 2021

Gordon MP Richard Thomson is urging people to register their interest in the forthcoming Strategic Needs Assessment which will be carried out by Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership (AHSCP) regarding Insch Hospital.

Mr Thomson is backing calls by the Friends of Insch Hospital who would like to encourage as many people as possible to register to take part in the questionnaire which will later be launched by AHSCP.

Anyone with an interest can register, you do not have to currently live in the area or be registered with the Health Centre at Insch.  The closing date to register to take part in the questionnaire is 18th July 2021.  It is not possible to take part in the questionnaire unless you register first.

Commenting, Richard Thomson MP said:

A Strategic Needs Assessment to look at what provision there is now, and how it can be improved and adapted to meet current and future needs, was paused due to the pandemic.  This is now being restarted.

“Insch War Memorial Hospital is a highly-regarded and valued community facility, as evidenced by the sterling work of the Friends of Insch Hospital.  The approach being taken by Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership to the Strategic Needs Assessment requires people to register to take part.  As there is a closing date for this of 18 July I am urging as many people as possible to register to take part.”
