GORDON MP WELCOMES SCOT GOV MOVE TO EXTEND OFF-PEAK RAIL FARES

Gordon MP Richard Thomson has welcomed the announcement by the Scottish Government that that the off-peak fares all-day trial will be extended until 27 September 2024.
The move means cheaper rail fares will be available for longer as part of a trial to determine how many new journeys have been made on rail and whether passengers have switched from car to rail.

MP URGES CARERS TO APPLY FOR ‘TAKE A BREAK’ GRANT

Local MP Richard Thomson is urging carers in Gordon to consider applying for a ‘Take a Break’ grant which is now open for applications.
